The Cinematic Council of Podcasts - Welcome to 2023 (and Box Office Fantasy Draft)

It's time to call the council to assemble.  Join some of the very best in independent film podcasting as we catch up on a busy season in the world of cinema.  We discuss a variety of topics in our fellowship of the film. Sitting around the table this month are Kevin from "The Podcast That Wouldn't Die", and Stew from "SWO Productions" Topics this month include: 

• What did we make of Rihanna's halftime show at the Super Bowl?
• What did we make of the ending of the big game?
• Oscar Nominations are out. Should Top Gun: Maverick have a chance?
• Do the Oscars need to earn back some credibility with the audience in the aftermath of 'The Slap'
• How much responsibilities should cinemas have for policing the behaviour of their guests?
• We talk The Flash post Super Bowl trailer (could it be any more Keaton?)
• Is it possible that the all-male Best Director field actually acts as a guarantor for every other category?  We discuss the proposed concept
• We then finish by drafting a roster of 6 films each as we try and predict the big 2023 releases that will bring home the most cash
